Cadillac Gets a New Voice!

Move over Kate Walsh. Laurence Fishburne has just been named the newest spokesman for Cadillac. He’s joining the ever popular trend of celebrity voiceover gigs.

“At Cadillac our ambition is to continue to set a new standard in our own distinctive way”, said Don Butler, vice president for Cadillac marketing. “We are excited to be working with Laurence Fishburne as we bring new thinking to the automotive luxury space in 2011.”

The TV advertising is a component of Cadillac’s new “Red-Blooded Luxury” campaign, the first for the brand from Fallon Minneapolis. [Source: GM]

Watch for the new Cadillac campaign which will debut January 1st, 2011 during the Rose Bowl game.  Which gets your attention more, a male or female voiceover? Or does it depend on the product?  We’re excited for this new change and can’t wait to see the new commercials!
