Buick VeranoIf you have been paying attention to Buick news, then you know that the luxury automaker added the Sport Touring trim to the 2016 Encore crossover. The automaker was quickly able to tell this trim would be a success and decided to add it to the 2016 Buick Regal, Verano, and LaCrosse as well.

What It Adds to Your Buick

The goal of the Sport Touring trim is to make your beloved Buick look slightly more aggressive. It mainly focuses on appearance upgrades, although there are some additional features as well. The Sport Touring trim on all three sedans will give you dark-finish 18-inch alloy wheels as well as a rear spoiler. The Sport Touring trim will not change the powertrain in a given model. This means that the Regal relies on a 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder, the LaCrosse has a 3.6-liter V6, and the Verano has a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder. If you pick the Regal or LaCrosse Sport Touring, you can opt for all-wheel drive.

Specific Upgrades to Buick

Other than those factors, the additional features vary slightly. The 2016 Regal Sport Touring gives you IntelliLink with Apple CarPlay and 4G LTE connectivity as well as leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a backup camera. The 2016 LaCrosse Sport Touring gets these same features as well as remote start. The Buick Verano Sport Touring will have a power driver’s seat, automatic climate control, heated front seats, and the 4G LTE connectivity.

Whether you want the Sport Touring trim of the 2016 Buick Regal, LaCrosse, or Verano, you will be able to find it on sale at Bill DeLord in Lebanon, Ohio, this fall.
